This year's Buošši winner is Oliva Nilsen from Manndal, who has highlighted Sea Sami duodji traditions and food traditions. She has been involved in duodji and Sea Sami cookery since childhood.
She has been featured in several documentaries and books to promote Sami culture, and has been a very important contributor to promoting the Sea Sami culture and traditions in the region.
Oliva is a role model and an important resource person for safeguarding our Sea Sami cultural heritage.
