This is the old legend “The Boy Who Taunted the Northern Lights” in a modernised version, and it is the story of a girl who must go on a mythical journey to find her little brother who was taken by the Northern Lights.

It all begins at the home of a perfectly ordinary family in 2020, with mother, father, daughter and younger brother. The girl is sent out to fetch her younger brother home, and as they are on their way home in the winter darkness, the younger brother decides to tease the Northern Lights. He has indeed heard that something will happen if one does. The girl believes this is just old superstition, and does nothing to stop him from teasing the Northern Lights and yes, the strange thing happens: the Northern Lights flare up violently and pull the boy up to them, he disappears, and no one believes the girl when she tells them what happened. But Grandpa still remembers what the old folks told him when he was little. The girl must undertake an enigmatic journey to find out how to reach the Northern Lights.
