And I see her standing and looking down. The dog can't have been killed, it's not possible to kill dogs. She says that the dog has been shot. Someone has killed the dog. He's shot the dog and he's going to die. Tonight he's going to die.\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jon Fosse himself has said this about the dog as a motif:&nbsp;<em>\u00abI think the dog has something to do with language-less understanding, and maybe I'm trying to approach, to write out, a kind of language-less understanding, for example in the pauses in the play. Having said that, it sounds a bit wrong. I think we have to be preoccupied with something, wait for something, for the Dog, for God, for the Girlfriend, for Godot.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance is suitable for young people and adults. Lasts for approx. 70 minutes.
