They sing about life, the people, the sea, and nature along the coast \u2013 a magical poetry and music experience out of the ordinary. Risten Anine Gaup is a traditional joiker, artist and activist from Kautokeino. From a young age, she has performed on stage with joik, theatre and other cultural outreach. She is passionate about S\u00e1mi culture and possesses a strong S\u00e1mi identity and a will to preserve her cultural heritage. Risten Anine is involved in the environment, actively working with, among other things, decolonisation and the reclamation of traditional S\u00e1mi ways of life. Through joik, she aims to enlighten, touch and engage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
