Welcome to Gi\u0111\u0111adulvi VII \/ Spring Flood VII! The Sami National Theatre Beaivv\u00e1\u0161 presents the seventh Gi\u0111\u0111adulvi review<\/em> for which the humourist and author Knut N\u00e6rum has written the lyrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GLEMT by Simone Gr\u00f8tte is a dance performance set against the backdrop of the brutal North Norwegian war history. Everyday memories, the nuances of war, taste, smell, and childhood memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film screening: Kaisa's En<\/strong>Enchanted Forest<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Kaisa\u2019s Enchanted Forest is a gorgeous film that tells the story of a Nordic people who are almost lost: the Skolt S\u00e1mi. This hard-tried people are also this year's featured people at Riddu Ri\u0111\u0111u. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with their culture!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duodje Arena<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Giellasiida\/S\u00e1mi Language Centre invites you to a new S\u00e1mi language arena with duodji as the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giellasiida Language Centre, Centre for Northern Peoples, 21 May and 11 June at 6-8 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language camp for children and young people<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Sign up for a language camp with an overnight trip, barbecue and more. The offer is for pupils from years 1-7 who have Sami as a subject. The offer is a collaboration between Giellasiida, Storfjord and G\u00e1isi Language Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e1mi language immersion<\/strong> under<\/strong> Riddu Ri\u0111\u0111u Festival<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Come and speak and learn S\u00e1mi in pleasant surroundings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giellasiida Language Centre offers 4-day language immersion courses in Manndalen. The course is for those who already know some Sami but need speaking practice and a larger vocabulary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our museum and gift shop are open every weekday between 10:00 and 15:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NB! There are no open Saturdays between May and August.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
