We have now opened our exhibition about our eminent duoj\u00e1r traditional and artistic craftsman, H\u00e5vard Larsen. The exhibition shows some of Larsen's works over 40 years, and is part of a project in which we have documented his work as a life as a duoj\u00e1r. H\u00e5vard Larsen was thanked for his lifelong efforts by the Mayor of Balsfjord, Laila Johannesen, Chairman of the Nord-Troms Council and Mayor of Kv\u00e6nangen, Kai Petter Johansen, and political advisor for Samediggi, Aina Madel\u00e9n Nordsletta Aslaksen. K\u00e5fjordkoret and Kv\u00e4\u00e4ni\u00c4\u00e4ni contributed with the welcome song Hyv\u00e4n Illan and ended with a thank you, the song Giitu by Nils Aslak V\u00e4lkeap\u00e4\u00e4. The project was realised with the support of the Swedish Arts Council and the Sami Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to all of you, and to our many visitors who made this a memorable day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
