Thursday cinema in Manndalen
Thursday, September 11th, the village cinema will kick off again here at the Center for Northern People, and we’ll start with Barske Bøller 2!
The film starts at 5:00 PM, and tickets are at an anniversary price!
Barske Bøller 2!
Mr. Wolf, Sir Snake, Don Piraja, Mister Hai and Netti are finally back, now kinder than ever. Still, the gang struggles to build trust and acceptance in their new lives as honest citizens, and are forced back to their old ways for “one last mission” by a criminal gang of girls. But do they have what it takes to carry out a cunning plan again?
At 7:00 PM, the film Ingen Kommentar will be shown.
Inger Kommentar!
When you’re prime minister and discover that your husband has screwed up, it’s not enough to throw him under the bus. Unless we’re talking about the articulated bus.
At least that is the strategy Prime Minister Alma Solvik, together with her scandalized and corruption-accused spin doctor Karianne Moen, resorts to when Prime Minister Sondre Bortnes’s husband is caught as a stock speculator. In the face of accusations of insider trading and disqualification, “Sondre is the culprit” becomes the mantra everyone in the party must repeat.
No comment is the film you didn’t know you wanted to see about power, intrigue and obfuscation in a political reality that is confusingly similar to our own. With a slanted look, we are taken behind the scenes and behind the facade, and get to see what really happens when the shit hits the fan. Or when the toilet burns, as they say. When it gets hot. When everything unravels. When hell is loose. Yes, you get the point…
