– I played at the Centre for Northern People last autumn, and had a fantastic experience. Great people and a very nice concert hall. There was an enthusiastic audience that seemed hungry for concerts. I hope we can have just as good a time now, when we turn up the energy level by fifteen or sixteen notches with Pil & Bue, says Petter.

– Now we're going to feel alive again, he promises.

The band has released 3 singles already.; https://orcd.co/truedisaster . The reception has been fantastic, and among others Totto Mjelde on Guitar, NRK P13 is very enthusiastic.

– These will be our first public concerts together as Pil & Bue, and we're tremendously excited, he says.

New drummer

For, after a three-year break, the band is returning with significant changes to its lineup. Guitarist and singer Petter Carlsen will be joined by drummer Gøran Johansen, after the band's original drummer Aleksander Kostopoulos had to prioritise differently.

– Aleksander wanted me to continue with what we had started after he unfortunately had to leave the band. I’ve played with Gøran for several years in other bands. He’s a fantastic drummer and I felt it was natural for him to help shape Pil & Bue in the band’s next chapter, says Petter.

Pil & Bue was founded in 2013 and has released two albums. Several of the band's singles have been used extensively in Tommy Wirkola's film universe, where, among other things, the song «Fire» had the honour of soundtracking the end credits of the Hollywood blockbuster «What Happened To Monday». The band has toured extensively across the country and has also been out in Europe a couple of times.
