Petter Carlsen from Alta creates his own mix of indie-rock. Today he released his fifth studio album: The Sum Of Every Shade. Carlsen tells Altaposten that this is his best album so far. On Friday, you can experience him in the cultural hall at the Centre for Northern Peoples, along with his good friend and producer Kristian Olstad.
The album is a mix of Carlsen's previous music projects, offering great musical variations and contrasts. The title reflects Petter's musical journey so far; all the places he has been, everyone he has worked with, and all the different genres he has explored. The record also reflects his musical inspirations throughout the years. From Michael Jackson to Metallica.
With what is becoming a respectable back catalogue, including the 2017 success «Glimt», with which he won the Arctic Talent scholarship, Petter plans to play live a lot going forward, and the setlist will span his entire career.
