Earlier this year, sisters Ingir Bål and Marja Bål Nango were awarded the prize for best international short film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Now you have the opportunity to catch this important film about abuse against women in a Sami environment.

«During a snowstorm on the tundra, a Sami woman is raped while tending to her reindeer herd. Her sister, far away, senses that something is wrong and begins to search for her. Filled with both fear and confusion, the women join forces in their quest for revenge,» reads the film's synopsis.

We are also showing two other short films by Marja Bål Nango:

Half this, half that It is about being multicultural. The filmmaker has interviewed 6 young people who belong to two cultures, in an attempt to find answers to their own questions about being bicultural.
