Lisa is an authentic songwriter who tells stories about what's left unsaid between people and safely brings us closer to emotions we rarely dare to face. Skoglund elegantly wraps it all up in a playful pop landscape. In recent years, she has gained a reputation for writing the most beautiful, most brutal lyrics the northern Norwegian music scene has heard in a long time.

Skoglund has developed her craft over a long time. After studying music at Kongsbakken upper secondary school, her interest in songwriting led her to the Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio in Oslo, where she completed a bachelor's degree in popular music from 2011 to 2014.

In 2015, Skoglund moved back to her hometown of Tromsø to find new inspiration, which resulted in a collaboration with producer Are Simonsen (Hekla Stålstrenga, Halvdan Sivertsen). The result was the EP “Falle der æ står» (released April 20, 2018). The first single «Hjertefyll» was recommended by NRK P3 and has been played on NRK P1. This year, Lisa has played a number of Northern Norwegian festivals such as Bukta, Sørøyrocken, and the Arctic Arts Festival, and has supported Stein Torleif Bjella and Dagny.

She has now recorded her debut album, which will be released in January 2020, and before then, Lisa will be embarking on a trio tour in Northern Norway in autumn 2019.
