Welcome to the Centre for Northern Peoples – a living Sámi sea museum and cultural centre in Sápmi, where you can experience Sámi and Indigenous culture with all your senses.
Here you'll encounter exciting exhibitions, events, stories – and tastes of traditional food.
We offer insight into Sámi maritime history, culture, and way of life through experiences, knowledge, and good meeting places. With us, you can learn, explore, and connect with both past and present – in an environment that fosters understanding, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
