Stories about the Sami resistance to the development of the Alta-Kautokeino watercourse.
The production is a docudrama about the Alta Action 1979-1982. Three people; Jorunn Eikjok, Niillas A. Somby and Johs. Kalvemo, have their stories presented in the play, they are interviewed as witnesses, and the audience gets to hear three Sami perspectives on the story.
Three main events are in focus: The hunger strike in Oslo in 1979, the police action in Stilla in 1981, and the attempted bridge demolition in 1982.
Suitable for youth 13+/adults. Subtitled in Norwegian.
